First Time Buyers

Now the housing market is moving again we are finding an increasing number of first time buyer clients are contacting us. Putting the first foot on the ladder is a giant step for most people and it is crucial that you are provided with the correct product / mortgage that will suit your individual circumstances and needs. Moving House

This can be a stressful and costly business if not handled correctly, one of the first steps that should be considered is your new mortgage and what options you may have available. Do you need to move lender? Is your current mortgage portable? Should you stay on SVR? How will the loan to value affect you? These are but a few matter that might be worthwhile looking at.

Re-Mortgages

A re-mortgage might be an appropriate option for you for a number of reasons, re-mortgaging is an area we have a huge amount of experience in and makes up around 65% of our business.

You might be simply looking for a better rate than your existing lender is offering. You might want to look for a new fixed rate ensuring your monthly outgoings will not change for a period of time. We are currently fixing rates for 2, 3, 5 and even ten years. You may want to consolidate your outstanding personal loans or credit cards with in your mortgage reducing your monthly out goings. You may want to capital raise against your mortgage to affect home improvements. You might want to raise money for a one off expensive item such as a car or a wedding.

Buy to Let Mortgages

BTL mortgage over recent months have become more accessible and lenders are becoming very competitive, at The North East Mortgage Centre we manage finance for a number of different BTL clients, from people who have the one or two properties, to clients that have substantial portfolios.
We can plan how you would like to structure your BTL finance, providing you with options on loan to value, term of the finance, fixed or tracker rates and options on repayment or interest only mortgages.

Poor Credit Mortgages & Secured Loans

If you have been put in a position that has adversely affected your credit rating, you may find that doors are being closed for you, in relation to mortgages. We have specialist lenders in the mortgage market that will look at clients on an individual basis. Over the past six or seven years these lenders have not been active in the market however over recent months they are back and have money to lend.
